On September 30 in NYC, CTHRA launched Mission Media with a signing ceremony between the cable industry and the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense office, to underscore cable’s on-going commitment to provide supportive work environments for those currently serving in the reserves and the National Guard. 21st Century Unconscious Bias

Whether one believes it or not, we all have unconscious biases. Often, the term has negative connotations. An increasing number of studies have shown the significant impact unconscious biases can have on talent processes and potentially lead to forms of institutional discrimination. Kimberly Reed reveals a variety of strategies that HR professionals can use to tackle unconscious bias in the most recent issue of HR Pulse.
